The John & Mary O'Brien Foundation for Academic Excellence was founded to recognize and reward teachers who continually contribute extra effort to a quality job while maintaining high professional standards. These teachers do make a significant difference in the lives and the futures of our students. The O'Brien Foundation seeks to acknowledge their contribution by funding grant requests and by serving as a catalyst for public recognition of these special individuals. These grant requests may encompass a broad range of educationally enriching experiences.
